The idol of Ram Lalla has been finalized for the Ram temple of Ayodhya. It has been made by the famous sculptor Arun Yogiraj of Karnataka. This information was given by Union Minister Pralhad Joshi and former Karnataka CM Yeddyurappa on social media.
“Where there is Ram, there is Hanuman. Karnataka is the land of Hanuman. There is no doubt that this is an important service for Ram Lalla from Karnataka, the land of Hanuman. Earlier, Champat Rai, general secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, had said that only the idol of Lord Ram’s child form will be installed in the sanctum sanctorum. This will be the form of Rama in which he will be in the form of a 5-year-old child, because the idol is of the child form of God, so there will be no idol of Mother Sita in the sanctum sanctorum of the main temple.
3 statues of Ramlala were built for the sanctum sanctorum of Ayodhya Ram temple. The length of all three is 51-51 inches. All the three statues depict the 5-year-old child form of Ramlala seated on a lotus pedestal. One statue is made of Makrana stone and two Carnatic stones.
